Wealth Is Built From the Gap, Not the Income

Two people earning $200,000 can end up a million dollars apart in fifteen years. The difference is invisible: it's the gap.

High earners with high spending have nothing. Modest earners with disciplined gaps end up wealthy. Income is the raw material; the gap between income and spending is the output.

Track the gap as a percentage of after-tax income. Twenty percent is good. Thirty is excellent. Forty is rare and life-changing.
